My fiancee's Dad gave me his old Pentax MG 35mm SLR and it had a sticky shutter. I searched and found Eric at pentaxs.com. It seemed he had a good rep so i sent the camera to him for some TLC.
It turned out fantastic. He cleaned it up, new seals and bumpers, cleaned and lubed the mechanicals. He also ended up have to replace a few internal bits and fix my broken view finder window. He also added a missing winder cap, etc at no charge.
Ie, he went above and beyond the call of duty and really treated the camera as if it were his. Very fast turn around time.
So check out Eric at Home (pentaxrepairs@aol.com) if your camera needs some TLC.

Any idea what the lense and camera would be worth in this like-new condition. The camera was also recently serviced, resealed, and calibrated.

Hey guys, first post here.
My fiancee's Dad just gave me his old Pentax MG. It doesn't seem to be too popular, but its in like-new condition and works great. Its a nice size and build I think and Aperture priority is great for 95% of my use.
It also has a 50mm F1.7 lense which is really nice.
So cheers to the MG! :)
