I'll be using my beloved Ds to the very end, to the last loud click of the shutter, that sweet sound of the tool I love so very dearly. I can't think of selling it although there's been much interest. It's my camera, it is a part of me.
Got the K20D yesterday. It is wonderful, simply wonderful. Thank you Pentax, thank you, thank you.

Nothing mysterious here :)
From the Finnish rep through my trusted local dealer. Now all I have to do is wait which is the hardest part. But hey, what's new! :D

Roland, do you have any idea when this new Limited macro would be available? It's on my personal roadmap and for a plant geek like me a real must.

I was wondering about the same thing. Should we put the heat on Perkko...? (Pentax rep in Finland)

Welcome K20D!! Should I put my order in already...
I can't describe the feeling I have right now. I decided to wait for the K10D follower and now it's on it's way. Thank you Ben and Roland for the info. Ground breaking. My beloved Pentax.
What I'll need is some serious update on my PP software. I've ploughed through with the Elements but now it is time to move on and take a deep learning curve with post processing as well. I'm all ears to suggestions!

Roland is one of the very few whose comments I read always and with thought always. I'd hate to see his back, leaving this forum...
I for one have a DS. And yes, it is a love-thing. I don't have a K10D and I don't intend to get one. But I do plan to get it's follower.

Even Mr. K. Torigoe thinks highly of this little wonder, which warms a Ds-owner's heart :)

For portraiture I'd consider the 43mm Limited. It has been a bit undervalued of the FA Limiteds and has a rep of being a bit "soft" - please correct me if I'm wrong - but for portraits this lens might just be IT.
I congratulate you for your excellent taste by choosing the primes. They are truly, truly wonderful performers and also so full of character. I have two DAs, the 40mm and the 21mm and love every second I spend shooting with them. You just can't get enough of them.

Hi Kunzite/Alex and welcome to the forum!
I visited Transilvania last spring and would go back this very minute if it was possible. Really loved it! The people were so warm-hearted and friendly.
Glad you chose Pentax, you can't go wrong there.

First, sorry Mo I sent this thread under the wrong topic, please move it where ever you see it fits.
Second, thanks both for your replies, very sensible and calming. And yes, my DS is also working great, I have a new lens on the way, I love photography and that's all that matters right now.

Hello everyone!
I've joined in September :o and already gaping away ... could it be the famous Finnish drive to express oneself verbally
Nice to see so many familiar "faces" around !
I'm getting my 21mm Limited soon, very soon :D Fantastic! There was a moment of hesitation after reading quite a few remarks of it back focusing and of the bokeh, but I think it's gonna be one marvelous lens to own anyway.
