I have the Yongnuo RF-603N II (Nikon) and they work perfectly just in manual flash mode of course as they are “dumb” triggers.
As a bonus, they also work without a problem with this flash in other camera brands (in my case Panasonic and Sony).

There are always different ways of getting the original back afterwards (not he is doing a demonstration in the videos).
One possibility is to do a duplicate of the image in lighttable and afterwards with the “first” version of the photo selected choose history stack, discard history.

New Darktable version (3.8.1) is out
New features and (mainly) bug fixes.
Also, and important, info of suspended support on several cameras - in Pentax world it's the K200D, K2000 and Q10 -, and what to do to revert that.
This new version (an detailed information about what is new /corrected) can be obtain directly from GitHub: Release darktable 3.8.1 released · darktable-org/darktable · GitHub

I print photos that I’m pleased with in A4 and A3 formats. I have light black metal frames on my walls - 5 A4’s (3 landscape and 2 portrait) and 3 A3’s (2 landscape and 1 portrait).
Sometimes I give some of those prints to friends or family too, to the ones who demonstrate interest in them.
I rotate the photos from time to time. It can be several photos per month or it can pass one or two months without changes – it depends if I feel my photos in that timeline deserve to be looked several times a day (or not).
For this I use a Canon IX6850, Canon paper and Canon inks.
To help getting a good match between what I get on screen and the final print, the monitor is calibrated with the ColorMunki Smile calibrator and using the Displaycal free software.
The photos are processed in Darktable.
Final conclusion: cheap, reliable and good enough (for me at least).
I’m very pleased with the results for 5 years now.

Hello
The “new” way(s) of doing noise reduction in Darktable appeared in version 3.0 (24th December 2019).
Here it’s explained by one of the main developers (I think the main one): You Tube |
src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/InsCJAPSdjI?controls=1" allowfullscreen> |
and Changes in noise reduction for darktable 2.7/3.0 - darktable - discuss.pixls.us
[the following discussion after the first explanatory post can (maybe) help to clarify further doubts].

This is happening in Darktable 3.4.1 running on Windows 10.
Is Windows 10 your operating system?

New Darktable version (3.4.1) - important information!
If you are using Darktable in Windows 10, do not upgrade from Darktable 3.4.0 to 3.4.1.
Several users have reported (myself included) that in version 3.4.1, using the auto-picker option in any of the modules (color calibration, filmic, etc.) will crash Darktable, one of the discussions about this issue can be checked here: filmic rgb - win10 - DT 3.4.1 - bug? - darktable - discuss.pixls.us.
My advice is to wait for what the developers will do about it.

New Darktable version (3.4.1) is out.
It is mainly a correcting bugs release with some extra small improvements - for us, is of special interest in the new noise profiles the K-1 II being contemplated.
This new version (and detailed information about what is new /corrected) can be obtain directly from GitHub: Release darktable 3.4.1 released · darktable-org/darktable · GitHub
