Hi everyone,
I've been shooting yesterday little clips with the burst mode of the k20d.
On certain ones I got a kind of luminosity wave that moves on each frame of the clip. After rehearsing, the wave appeared when the white balance was set to a preset, and did not appear when I was on AWB.
As it was under changing tungsten lights, I would like to use a preset WB.
Did anybody notice the same problem, have any explanation or fix ?

Ahah, a lot of laughs reading all replies.
I don't know if my source is reliable enough, but at least it makes us smiling.
For the 67 proposal, maybe it will be a k20d with a 67 body, just as heavy and big (how many times the K-m ?)

AF doesn't seem very fast, but fast enough for what I shoot and precise. I will shoot circus in some weeks, will see how it reacts there.
I will make some shots tomorrow, will post if some are interessant to see the rendering of the lens (won't post portraits because I don't want to see portraits of my entourage floating on the internet).

Hi everybody,
I just bought the new DA* 55/1.4 SDM,
tried it a little this afternoon on portraits and first impressions are :
- very good contrast (much better than FA50)
- sharp even wide open (much much better than FA50)
- popping colours
- strong backfocus on my k20d (but corrected easily via the menu)
- quiet SDM AF
- very precise AF
- seems very well built
- bokeh blurs nice to my eyes.
Colours and general feeling of seems like 77 limited and some zeiss and rollei lenses.

Hello,
as a reader of this forum for years without contributing,
I had a little discussion with some a-bit-more-informed people,
and here some informations for what could come (don't know the date) :
- name : K7
- higher model thant K20D
- APSC
- ? more resolution (ouch ! that's a pity) ?
- ? video ?
Maybe I was misinformed, but I thought I could share this rumor.
