Samyang seems to have made all of them including the Vivitar version. In fact, there are more than 4 different brands that I have seen. They are all pretty much the same. I have K85 f1.8 which is very good and has unique characters. But the Rokinon is sharper and has more contrast at f1.8. Buy the Tak with your heart and the Rok with your brain in case money is an issue.

Sent my Kx and DA17-70mm to Criscam for a repair. Kx shutter button is a little bit sticky and focusing is a bit off, while my DA17-70mm's SDM motor was dead several days after receiving it from another PF member. BTW, you can look at my record and check where I got the lens, if you are curious enough.
Only 4 business days after Criscam got the package, they are ready to ship them back. What a surprise. I have thought about buying another body in the interim after listening to a couple of tragic stories with Pentax service center.
Will let you know how things turn out after I get them back. Pretty pleased with the communication so far.
