It is possible to zoom in and see the top of the pentaprism which is quite distinctive. Not a K or M series. Possibly MZ or similar.

Thank you for commenting Gaston. I like the combo for its size as well - easy to carry around on occsions such as this day walking a footpath along the coast.

Thank you for your appreciation. The rolls were developed and scanned commercially by Rewind Phopto Lab in Sydney. When I download the scans from their Dropbox I save the orignal scans then resize each image give them a minor levels adjustment if needed and a slight sharpen if needed and rename each image. I use the M40 2.8 lens mostly which isnt known for laser sharpness. But some images need very little adjustment. Then I put a frame on most of the shots. I used to use Photoshop but following a referral on the forum pages I now use Photoscape XPro. I like using high contrast film stock like TMax. If I had a K3Monochrome I would probably use the high contrast ode a lot.

Because almost every roll of film has a bout 6 or 7 frames on the end unused that you end upo using several months later on a different subject with no clear recollection of what is on the first 2/3s of the roll. YMMV of course. With digital you can pop the card and review the images at any time.

Port side railway sidings, Devonport Tasmania
It is a feature of film that you get geographically diverse subjects on the same roll of film.

Thank you for commenting Phil. I did enjoy the process of using film on the fully manual camera and the resulting images are a bonus.
