I know, i should have gone back and edited. Even so, cameras with the same sensor can turn out different pictures. when i mentioned the k10d, I was more referring the handling.
Sorry if my writing isn't clear, its finals week at UCSB and my brain is slowly shutting down.

Yeah, but most of the shots i see are on the k20d, which has a different sensor. I've liked the shots I see from the K10d as well, but I also had questions on handling with the smaller k200d body. some cameras just don't jive as well with different lenses, and hopefully the k200d and da* play nice

I've been strongly leaning towards upgrading my kit normal zoom to the DA* 16-50mm, for reasons of: fair amount wider, weather sealed, faster constant aperture, and the clincher for me: when I'm flipping through PPG or other Pentax photo sites, I'm always drawn to pictures taken with this lens.
It seems to be about the closest to prime "magic" that one can get with a zoom.
I'm not too worried about QC control issues, I'll roll the dice and buy from a reputable dealer.
However, I'm aware that this lens is a beast, and I'm wondering if it is just too big for the k200d? I usually use the vertical grip, so this may help ergonomics a bit.
Are any k200d owners using the DA* 16-50? How do you like it? Worth the $$$?
Thanks
