Hi,

I am a bit frustrated that you cant Search buy/sell section for specific items for sale. It should be easy to make and a big time saver for us users.
Thanks!

[quote=EricTn;2945400]Hi Everyone,
Just a quick note to thank all of you who have sent in your old Pentax units for service. I pray each and everyone of them are working for you and giving you memories of the past.
Just to let you know I have moved from the farm in the country to a house in the city. So I may be a bit slow right now getting your camera's back because of the move. I'm pretty much set in my new place now and am back repairing.
My new address is:

Eric Hendrickson
PO Box 70612
Knoxville, TN 37938

Thanks again,
Eric:)

Aperture ring or no aperture ring

To me it seems that building lenses without an aperture ring is neglecting a very important point: the photographers left hand is then only used to support the lens/camera and has no other functionality. This is why it might as well also facilitate an aperture ring, like it used to in the old days, giving the left hand several functions instead of leaving it almost useless and overburdening the right hand and fingers with too many controls and spinning wheels. And one more reason an aperture ring is great is because of its haptics - the photographer doesnt have to LOOK in the viewfinder or on the display screen to know which aperture he is using, he can FEEL it and changing the aperture can also be FELT and controlled in steps, much better than with a small wheel. On top of that, an aperture ring gives you the opportunity to also use the lens on an older film body. So in my humble opinion there's no doubt; removing the aperture ring from a lens reduces the usability of the lens severely!
