I use Aperture but have noticed they still don't show support for the K7. Is anyone with a K7 using Aperture? Does it work with DNG fine?

Welcome to the forum. Your English is very good. I find it humerous that you are leaving Spain for a honeymoon in Japan when if I could pick a honeymoon destination it would be Spain!Congratualtions on getting married and enjoy the honeymoon.

Odd you should ask. I am a crew member on the three 17th century ships out of Jamestown - the Discovery, Godspeed and Susan Constant. That's the only sailing I do. I was fortunate to be part of the crew which sailed the "new" Godspeed from Rockport Maine where it was constructed to Jamestown and then take it on an 80 day sail up the east coast to be put on display at various ports. I guess you are a sailor by your question. I wouldn't know how to act on anything but a squarerigger.

I am also red/green color blind. I use Aperture as a processing software package and find I am pretty good at getting the colors to be correct. Being red/green color blind we can see true red and true green, it is the shades of red and green that we have trouble with. I find I can correct the colors to a good green/red the rest takes care of itself. If I start experimenting, I get into trouble very quickly. So I go for vibrant green and vibrant red and let the shades fall in line. I always ask the wife and she seems to think the photos look good - no people with green faces yet! I guess each of us "color blind" folks have more or less deterioration than others. Play with the primary colors and get feed back. Good luck!!
