Wow, that's a great deal! I'll definitely do that instead of the Harmony remote. I didn't realize there were such cheap options available. Thanks everybody!

Does anyone know if it is possible to use a Logitech Harmony Universal Remote to work on the Pentax K20d? I can't imagine why it wouldn't work since it's just an IR signal, right? If anyone has any feedback on how to program the Harmony to do this, I'd appreciate it!
I know it's not the ideal solution, but I just need to be able to take pics of my family and since I just bought a bunch of equipment I don't really want to spend the extra $30 if I can just use my Harmony remote.

Agreed! You certainly are a welcoming bunch! Plus, I've found that searching out used lens and reading up on techniques on the Forum makes a great study break from neuroanatomy, which I'm forcing myself through right now!

Hey guys, I just joined the forum after perusing it for several days and really enjoying it. I've been shooting a Pentax ZX-10 35mm since 2000 and just decided to do my part to stimulate the economy by finally upgrading to the K20. I'm in Med School in Des Moines, Iowa right now, which makes me sad because I'll miss shooting the beautiful Utah landscapes with my new camera! Oh well. Nothing like spending your financial aid money on an expensive and slightly unnecessary new toy!
