Yep, I'm a lucky dog . Most of the girls are approachable if you want take good pictures of them, in that case I can use my Nokton 58mm. But in my opinion, the best portraits are taken without the subjects noticing, otherwise their body language or facial expression would be unnatural or quite rigid.

Thanks very much for everyone's reply. I don't think I would mess around the screen or prism straightaway. I'll start with Steve's suggestion and see how it goes.

Hi everyone,
As I've changing the lenses quite often, some dusts went inside the camera. I tried to clean it with the blower and lens cleaning pen. When I look through the viewfinder I can still see two or three small black dots, even though I've cleaned the mirror and I'm pretty sure the sensor is clean. :hmm:
Any suggestions please? Thanks! By the way, my camera is K20D.

I own 16-50mm, the lens is well built with weather sealing, handling is superb. In terms of image quality, it has obvious dark corners at f/2.8, but over f/4 there is no problem and the sharpness is great. I don't own 16-45mm, but as I know it has severe color shadows. In my opinion you should go for 16-50mm.

I recommend HOYA HD Digital UV filter which I'm currently using. I used to have couple of HOYA Pro-1 digital filters, they were pretty good as well. But HOYA does claim new HD series can provide better protection and optical quality, compared to the older ones.

Had mine for about a month, haven't noticed anything about loose front. May I ask if you did any "damage" to your lens? It shouldn't getting loose by itself I suppose. My advise would be you contact Pentax service to get it sorted, good luck with it!

I thought "A" stands for automatic metering. With my K20D, I need to switch the aperture ring of the lens to "A" (automatic I suppose), then use the camera to adjust the aperture. It works pretty well, but still have no idea how to change the focus length to 58mm on the camera. Now I can only set it as 55mm, which is shown in the EXIF. Anybody know how to do it?:)

I think the AF is fast enough, I can't notice it's any slower than 50-135mm. There's no "noticeable wobble" when it's extended. But I'm not sure if it can cope with your holding fashion, since I've never tried that. :)

If you want to see the original pictures (full resolution), you can have a look at my Flickr set. I think in terms of sharpness, this lens is comparable to 50-135mm. :)

Thanks Parallax, I think what you said about contract may be the issue, as outdoor shooting is completely fine. The focus can be difficult if you only use the viewfinder, but the camera can indicate if the object is focused. So far, I quite like this lens in terms of image quality and build quality.

Hi guys,
I set the aperture ring as A (auto) and use the camera to control the aperture. But I found something strange, that is, when I shoot indoor, the picture took at f/1.4 is darker than those took at f/2.8 or f/4. Is this normal? :hmm:
Thanks.

Here are some pictures I just took. As it's dark outside and in my room, ISO it relatively high. If you want see the original pictures in highest resolution, please check my Flickr link.
I'll take more outdoor pictures when the weather gets better.
