I have been looking to buy it these past few days. Adorama is on backorder with it, B&H is out of stock and 70$ more expensive then adorama. Amazon only has the HSM version and it is listed as not released yet. I have looked at a few other good online stores and none of them list any sigma lenses for pentax at all.
It seems only the Pentax mount is gone. Canon, Nikon and Sony mount version of this lense are all in stock everywhere.
Does anyone know of a reputable/reliable online dealer that has this lense in stock?
I also have no local camera store under a 2 1/2 hr. drive.

I'm actually liking the low contrast in this picture. Creates a light feeling for me. A crop in to the head area, keeping the orange flowers would be interesting to see. It seems like it would improve the photo, but the photograph is already great so does it even need improving?

I like this as much as your other photographs. The moss is really cool and the lighting is great. In the first photograph it is pretty interesting to see that the moss is solely on the braches and not the trunk. It creates a cool image.

Very surreal photograph. The blurring on the trees from the winds is great in my opinion. Reminds me of old old cameras that needed long exposures and always had the in the backround. Great colours, riminds me of mints?!

yes, thats a really nice and sharp photo. What lense did you use if you dont mind me asking? This must be a fairly small area becuase it's all in focus with F:5.6.
Well done photo.

Sorry to be the negative one here but I think the HDR effect is a little too much. CLearly lots of people like the effect but the glow and the desaturation here affect the photos for me.
I think black and white would work better. However, the composition of the photos are great. Two and Three really stand out to me in this way.

I'm going to help pile on the praise for the scond one. Very good photo, you really nailed the focus on the eye. A rare case of effective selective colouring.
The first one doesn't quite do it for me mostly becuase of the branches over the cats face. The pose is cool though.

Woah number one is awesome. I got to say I have a thing for simple and colourful exposures. The colours really pop on that one and the symmetry is great. Number 5 is a really cool shot too. A very simple and effective composition wroks really well here too. Just the blimp and the sky.

Yeah, I personally like #1 better just becuase the whole scene is able to be viewed. However in the second picture the foreground looks Awesome. the super blurred out backround is not to my taste however.
There both good in their own way.

Ha-ha I've been there! of all the places in Finland... I loved that place some sweet architecture and you captured it very well in your photos. Great photos with nice contrast.
I particulary like number eights composition. very subtle and almost minimilistic.

Right hand, Right eye. Also Right hand left eye. I can be ambi-dextorous with my shooting eye. I naturally do right hand right eye but if the angle of my camera/me calls for it I can go and use my left eye.

I only have manual lenses and would like to keep it that way. Naturally I shoot only manual focus. On my D40 which had auto focus I only shot manual also. I enjoy the process of focusing. Auto focus can definitly be useful when shooting fast moving objects and sports but I still prefer to use manuall focus even for those.

I use a combination of being way to critical of my own work and the rating system. I highly recomend the rating system as a quick and effective way at deleting pictures. I do have a few large external drives that are there for purely RAW files back up that I dump the cards onto first (into folder organized by date) then I go onto do the whole lightroom thing and delete a lot of pictures that way.
The external back up prevents me from deleting a few I regret and also being able to go back over my old photos/reeimport to work on and maybe get some gems I never relised.

When I opened the thread I said wow out loud. Such a cool effect. Any more information on how you did it/set up? Did you use a flash or external lighting to a lrage degree.
I love the colours, I'm eager to try this out tonight.

#10 where the runner is sliding into base is awesome. Great job captureing the moment in all of these shots.

Excellent series, I'm loving all the angles. My favorites are 1, 2 and 5. 1 I like becuase that way of taking pictures of insides of cars is my favorite and I really like photos like that.
2 I like becuase of the crisp focus, the reflections and the composition is pleasing.
I really like 5's composition and colours.

I like the shot. I think it could be improved by rotating the camera to your right a little bit and get the shot so it's looking down the fence a little more but still keeping the fence post in focus and as the main subject of the photo.
I like the conversion, nice colours. Nothing needs to change there in my opinion.

Yes I think what I'm seeing on the right side must be the burn effect you applied. It doesn't detract from the picture as whole. Just a small non-perfect detail. As I said before this is a nicely done HDR and the colour intesity of the building really draws my eyes. Only after scrutinizing it for a bit do I notice the clouds.
Cheers

I really like number 3. The colours and layers of views make it very appealing for me. Also the colours are not overdone and it looks very real. The horizon looks slightly crooked not like that really matters or it takes away from the picture.
Number 2 is enjoyable in it's simplicity. pleasant view, I din't spend as much time looking at it as 3 because it is a more regular view. However it is interesting enough take on a "regular view" to be an interesting photo.

It goes up a down in multiple month cycles for me. I'm just starting to shoot again after a whole winter of dormant hibernation without touching my camera.
Probably has to do with my success and the season.

The sunset from the bridge in the middle of my small town. When the weather is right I usually take sunset pictures every night when I'm around.
