Hi Conqueror , like you I had been thinking of getting the FA31mm and a week ago I took delivery of my most expensive lens yet. I have taken only a few images, this one of my daughter, and so far I am very happy. The built quality is amazing and I cant see a problem with size either. My copy is new and an AIV version. Its not been long enough for me to give you a compelling argument to buy one but here is one image not the greatest but may give you an idea of its potential :)
