I just bought the FH150 filter for the Tamron 15-30mm lens, the 150mm CPL, 10 stop ND filter from Benro. Also purchased the GND (3 stop) form Progrey USA.
Haven't had a chance to use them yet.
With this system you can use the CPL with the square and rectangular filters.
Bought all these from e-bay.
Check out the system at Benro.com.

Some images from the 2009 Luminato Toronto Festival of Arts, Culture and Creativity event taking place in Toronto at the moment.
These are images from the "Long Wave" display inside a building. It comprises of 60 red balls. The artist is Davod Rokeby.
I found the the display simply stunning! One can photograph these at different angle and everyone will give you a different propestive!

Hi Dave,
Yes, I am trying to get hold of all the K-7 in Canada - then I can sell them at a much higher price!! so I can then buy more of the prime lens! just kidding!
I am sure there will be a shortage of the camera at the begining. So Joey in Manila better have 3 shifts going to assemble the K-7 in order to meet the high demands!

Hi Dave,
Great writeup.
I coulndn't resist being one of the first few people to actually hold the K-7.
My first impression - heck this is so light!
Second was - heck it focus really fast and decisive, no hunting - even in the poor lighting in the hall.
Here are a few images of me with the much talked about "Pentax K-7"!

Hi drmartin,
Anybody can stay in the Chateau Lake Louise. It is a hotel.
The lake freezes over in winter - so you skate/walk on it or you go and ski on the mountain in the baclground.
The rest of the season - ypu can rent a canoe and paddle on the lake.

Hiking is another favouite pass time for me.
We hike the trials (especially The Bruce Trails) almost every weekend and it is a good opportunity for me to indulge in my photography.
These were shot over the last 2 days. |

Thanks everyone again for the positive comments.
Here are the loactions of these images, starting on the left going down:
The first one I titled it "After Glow" - these are the colours that the First Nation artists capture so well in their art.
Next is Herbert Lake in the Canadian Rockies - I purposely got up early just to capture the sunrsie!
The bottom one is captured at Gaspe, Quebec and the rock at the distance is the famous Gaspe Rock!
The 2 images on the right;
The top one is the famous "Spirit Island" located at Jasper National Park, Jasper, Albert. This place is pristine. This place is pure nature - untouched by human intrusion!
The bottom image is a view of the famous and expensive Chateau Lake Louise. The colour of the lake changes between aquamarine and emerald green from thr minerals in the water!
Yes, the Canadian Rockies is a place you must visit at least once in your lifetime. The majestic mountain is a sight that will stay in your memory forever.

Thank you all for the oooh, aaah and WOW!!!!
Glad that the images stir up something inside you!
We are so lucky here in Canada - there are so much to photograph - from the East to the Weat coast.
The first image was shot at Bon Echo Provincial Park during our camping trip - it was shortly after sunrise - I expose for the brightly lit trees in the foreground. The morning mist was rising and the 2 gentlement show up at the right moment!
The third image was shot as the sun was setting. The shot was taken in March and the ice in the foreground was begining to break up.
And now for some beautiful images from the rest of Canada!
Cheers
