Since I now have a second camera body I took the kids out shooting with me to keep them out of trouble! Jasmine gets the K20d and Connor the p&s. When I handed Jasmine the camera she said "Mommy can you take it off automatic this time I want to learn to do it myself." Girl after my own heart. (K-3 + 50mm 1.7)

I got my K-3 about two weeks ago (10th anniversary present from my hubby :)) but it's been so cold I haven't shot much. I did pull it out a few days ago to take some macro shots of the icicles out the back door and I'm loving the IQ! All the great shots in this thread kept me drooling while I waited for a price drop!
Hand-held with Promaster 100mm macro.

Shortly after I got my first DSLR (2009) my husband and I took a trip to Boston. While we were there we visited the Franklin Park Zoo, where I shot this lion. It still makes me smile when I look at it because he was so expressive! I took a lot of different shots, but this is my favorite. Now I know what it's like to stare down the throat of a lion!

I recently bought a set of M42 extension tubes (about 55mm) to use with my super takumar 55 f/1.8. I took them out for a test run the morning after a heavy rain - I think i'm in love! Here are a few shots - more on flickr :)

Zewrak those are gorgeous!
I just got a K20 a week ago and an M42 adapter two days ago, so last night I decided to pop my super tak 55/1.8 on and try it out! My manual focus skills are very rusty but I had a blast. :D Here are a few shots of my daughter.

Hi all. I found this site a few days ago by accident when my hubby told me he got me the K20D as an early b-day present! I've been addicted while I wait for it (coming tomorrow).
I've been a Pentax lover since my first camera - my mom gave me her Asahi Spotmatic when I was about 16. I fell in love with photography and that camera. Lately I've been using a Kodak p&s while I waited to get a Pentax DSLR. One of the main reasons I wanted to continue with Pentax is b/c I LOVE my old glass. I'm so glad to find that I'm not alone!
