Hello everyone. Seeing some very good shots here, hope I can meet the standard. Here are a couple of shots of a hawk undergoing rehab at the local state park.

Hello everyone. I'm making my bid to join all of you in the Tammy club. I'd forgotten how good the Tamrons are, and I'm going to devote more time to their use. The attached photo was shoot with the 18-200, f/6.3, 1/500s.

Hi all. I humbly request admission to the club. I've been catching up on this thread and am almost up to date. The overall quality of the photos sold me on the Taks (not to belittle the abilities of those behind the lens). I now own a Super Multi Coated 135/3.5 and a Super 55/1.8.
Here is one of my first attempts with the 55/1.8 Attachment 37145 |

Hi all. Do the Takumar lenses require the focus screen mod for the K10D that the M series lenses do? Thanks for the help.

I hope someone will give me their opinion regarding KEH Camera. I googled them, and checked them out at Resellers Ratings, but there were enough negative reviews to give me pause. I'm mostly looking for M series primes. Thanks.

Thanks for the input. Looks like I need faster glass if I keep at this.
BTW, who is Gus?

Hi all
I'm hoping someone here can give me some tips on shooting through fences. My roommate did some shots where the fence pretty much disappeared, but she can't recall what she did. You can view my Red-Tailed Hawk shot in the user gallery to see how I made out.
Big thanks up front for the help.

hachoo here, posting from suburban Memphis, saying hi to fellow Pentaxians the world over. I don't like talking about myself much, so this will be short.
I started taking photography seriously in mid-2006, using a Minolta P&S. I took a big step up to a Pentax K10D in early 2007, and after about a week I abandoned the green mode and moved to manual, which I use 95% of the time, and Av the rest.
I don't do the city thing (though I'd like to shoot Beale St. the morning after), preferring to catch what I can in the countryside.
So once again hi to all, and great shooting wherever you might be.
