I think Sigma does make OS in Pentax mount.
See DPreview forum.
But you cant use it together...

I can confirm the pentax or tamron 18-250 is a very nice lens. For me I always have only the camera with me, with one lens on it. So i can only take one lens, it has to be for close and zoom range. I tried a lot of stuff, Ist ds, 18-55 , 28-200, 18-125 and now the tamron 18-250. It sticks to my K10d forever now :p
The only thing disappointing to me: the focus sound. I made a recording of it, 2 times full forward and back (with lens cover on the lens). I am wondering if the pentax version is also this loud/sharp/sandy???:hmm:

I can confirm the green coating on my Tamron 18-250.
But what i am more interested about is the focus sound! On my Tamron its very loud, not that i don't want to use the lens anymore, but its loud. Is the Pentax the same loudness?
Edit: I mean if its loud, hard, dB, airpressure...the 2 lenses compared...right?

Hello peeps,
Great forum here! Lot or interesting things. I am from Holland and bought a K10d with kitlens for 300 euros. My dad has a Ist Ds, so thats why i got a Pentax. Never had a dslr before, but i like it already :lol:
Some things for this forum i want to figure out:
- using natural or bright jpg setting, and what parameters(sat/sharp/con)
- looking for a 18-125/200/250 allround lens
- what results the program options give, normal/fast/dof/mtf
