What's the hands-on verdict - K-7 vs. K20D AF?

dunno abt any scientific validation...but the one I got to play around with...it did locked the focus accurately on a person walking by at a reasonable rate...under dim condition of an auditorium....
use a FA31mm ltd while playing around and it seemed to be faster than atleast K10D which I used with the same lens combo and at the same place. :D

K7 lightweight????? No, just hype

It is a fraction lighter than K10D. I tried K-7 with card, battery grip and with FA 31mm ltd and it does not feel a lot lighter.
I guess it is more to do with competition as many has mentioned earlier.
And the best thing was the grip you get with K-7. It just fits snuggly in my hand and was a pleasure to hold.
Though the only 'getting used to' thing will be the new button layout and new interface. I currently use a K10D and my fingers were going automatically to the left of the lcd. But won't complain as I got only 15mins or so to play around with :D

Thanks a lot for the comparision. A real useful one.
Also tested a K7 yesterday over here in Japan. They has these demo stall for 2 days. The AWB and ISO performance has definitely improved.
IQ at ISO 3200 is almost like ISO400 in K10D. Also AWB did a very good job in mixed lighting (fluroscent, tungsten and daylight).
Seems like the review will be gr8 for this :D

Matt
Thnks a lot for the info. It is really helpful.
I have question:
Is there any way (or any brand) that can help me in grouping different flashes in wireless mode. Kind of what u have in Nikon CLS system.
Is there any way I can do that while maintaining P-TTL
Thnks in advance

Dear Pentax
It will be of gr8 help if you can come with an upgrade to AF540FGZ with:

Groups: changing flash output for each flash manually is u bit :(

Zoom: A bit longer zoom (110mil perhaps...won't mind a 200mil) will be gr8

That's it! Plz :)
