Iīm with Alfisti, you donīt want to annoy your wife or loose shots changing lenses, the 18-250 is great for sightseeing and as it gets late you can change to the faster 50mm and come home with great pictures and a happy wife.

Thankīs to all, you have been very helpful. I ordered the FA 35mm yesterday night after reading some of your responses, hadnīt read ll_coffee_lP great response though but I donīt like to second guess myself (thats what hapens when you are such an impulse buyer). I canīt wait for my buddy in the states to come to mexico and bring it to me. (it is always a hassle to find good prices in mexico).
