I'm planning on selling most of my 35mm gear inorder do justify getting into a 645 kit
My question is would the 45lens be wide enough for landscape?
Im used to shooting at 15 on my 35 and was concerned when i saw the 45 was comparable to a 28
And im leaning towards the 45 over the 35 silmply because i already have filters in that size

The night shots would be of the city and boat marina so they shouldnt be too dark
Im leaning towards velvia too but just because im excited to see how it comes out

Next week I will be going to Catalina
Ill be mostly taking pictures of the sunset, the boating marina at night and the city at night
I havent used slide film so i really want to try out velvia 100 but have read that it isnt good for nightshots and was wondering if i should use portra 160 instead
Any expierences or any thoughts would be helpful

I will be taking photos of a beach set, the city at night, and a boat marina at night.
I have velvia 100 ektar 100 and portra 160 and will be using a tripod so the film speed wont be an issue.
I havent used slide film yet so im eager to use the velvia but have read its not the best for night shots.
Any personal experience and thoughts would be helpful

I have a K200D with around 2600 shutter activations that I'd be willing to let go.
You could PM me if interested

I just got a spotmatic sp off ebay and I was testing it out but with out film and everything worked fine. But after a few times the shutter release button stopped working. Well it didn't stop working but it only works if I flick it really hard. Has anyone had this problem or know how to fix it?
