I do not think this lens will ever be seen with the Pentax mount. I have been watching and waiting for a couple of months now, and last night I noticed that Sigma removed Pentax from the list of mounts available, and most of the websites that had it listed as pre-order have removed it.
It seems to me that Sigma and Tamron both are more interested in selling glass to the people who need built-in stabilization.
Now I do not know which macro to buy...

Not the sharpest shot out there, but it was early morning from a moving boat. I tried to give it a bit more grain to give it that old photograph look. I was hesitant to post it with some of the shots here, but since it is just for fun, here it is.

After messing with it some more yesterday I am convinced the lens itself is out of whack. I could not get any sharp focused shots, AF or manual.
I have had this lens for many years, and carried it all over the state, so it would not surprise me if the issues is the lens. It was not a high dollar lens to begin with, and I never blew up any film shots I had taken with it, so there is good potential it has always been soft on the focus.
Now I need to convince my wife that a good lens is needed. She does not understand priorities sometimes.

I am having some focus issues with my Pentax FA 80-320mm lens. I have tried adjusting the AF, but it does not look any better. I have tried sample shots from +10 to -10 and none of them are in there.
Is anybody else out there using this combo? Do you have focus issues?
I have had this lens for several years, and put a lot of miles on it with my ZX-7, so I am not above thinking there may be an issue with the lens itself. Any suggestions on how to check it out?
I appreciate any help offered.
