Nice information, hjoseph7, thanks. I have a lot of older lenses that didn't come with a pouch and would be nice to buy something to fit them in to keep dirt and dust out of the nooks and crannies.

Brothers too young to leave the nest yet. ;) Nice catch!

I went out this morning and threw some peanuts out. This first one was looking for sunflower seeds in the seed feeder below him.

Then we have one who found a peanut and sat still long enough for me to get a shot off.

Great shot, KD. The title threw me though, as at first I thought I was going to see a young lass, and I find it's a bee instead. :D

Cute photo of some nice looking dachshunds. I used to own a few dachshunds, mine were red though not black and tan or blonde as these are and mine were short haired.

My daughter's boyfriend has a service dog as small as these dogs and when they go anywhere with her, she rides in a stroller.

Agree with what mhrish said but I'd also crop out the bit of sky you see. IMO, it draws my eye to it, first then the color of the trees and then the water.

Never mind. I was told it did but apparently what Bluestacks supports is MacOS, not iOS.

I want to know how you got this lens to focal length 154mm when it's only Canon EF-S 18~55mm, IS,II? Even your EXIF says 154mm. Huh? :D

That's much better Tony, it's not so blind me red.

I thank you but no, I don't do medical Mary Janes. :) But you could drop that f11 down to f8 and still get a good DOF without blowing out the reds. It's nice Rose shot, but I think it's a bit too underexposed. That's just MO, only. Others may feel different.

It is certainly red, but it's not Pentax Red. And the red is kind of blown out as there are no details in the petals. Roses have veins their petals.

I was selling my Rokinon Fish eye lens. A buyer PMd me and wanted to low ball me. His PM back to me after I said no, he said he'd just wait. Well, I sold ii to another member for what I was asking. I was tempted to ask him a month later if he was still waiting. :D

I did check prices on what the lens was selling for before I listed it. I would never list something and low ball anyone selling the same lens. But I've had that happen when I was trying to sell my K-5.

Absolutely!

Well, the original person didn't say he wanted to play games on his iPad/iPod, just some apps that was available for Android wasn't available for his iPod. He said he tried downloading them from Google Play and he always got an error message. That's when my friend stepped in and gave him a link to Bluestacks.

I don't have a touch screen either. Nor one on my laptop. So I doubt I'll be using it either. I just thought it might be useful for others who have a touch screen or who want to run Android apps on their iPad.

Thanks for the heads up. I was going by what my friend said. I have not used it because I don't care about using Android apps on my PC. And I no longer have a Mac. ;)

I didn't see any imperfections in that shot, Robert. Blown up usually shows noise but there wasn't any to see in your bee shot. Still an excellent shot!

I am still running Windows 7, so I don't I have that app on my computer.

The reason I know about Bluestacks was someone on my other site I moderate on, asked about using Google Play on his iPad. A friend and fellow tech told him about Bluestacks.

This program comes highly recommended. It's called Bluestacks and it's free. It lets you run Android and iOS apps on your PC. Windows 7 and up.
