I've been a Pentax fan since my high school days when I had a Pentax H3v slr. That should definately date me. I moved through, and still have, a k 1000, ME Super, ZX5-n, ist D-S and now a K20D. I've enjoyed this forum for quite some time but haven't posted much. Also a member of the PDML. It's been great meeting all of you, if only through this site. Thanks for all the info.

For those of you that think the k-7 is inferior check out the UK mag Digital Camera. In one of their latest issues they ran a comparo of the K-7 vs Canon's D50. The found the k-7 to be a winner in all areas tested. As I was skiming the article at our local Barnes & Noble bookstore, I didn't give it the time I should have, but it was quit clear in saying that although both were remarkable cameras, the K-7 was a clear winner. If someone has that issue maybe you can be more specific about what they found.

Pentax normally runs a few months of magazine ads at the beginning of a new camera model run. This was true with the K10 and K20. After this short run of 2-3 months they quit running the ads. Shame.
