785b head replacing?

I have a Manfrotto moda 785b which seams to be sturdy enough for even a heavy SLR but.....i'm thinking or replacing the head for a more sturdy one as it sound like some are a screw fit that the 785b has. Cant see the point in replacing the tripod! So has anybody ever replaced such a head?
