Just purchased a K-x, and popped in my Energizer 2450 (the ones that claim to hold charge for 6 months), and they are absolutely fine.

No, I don't think they rebrand eneloops, although it feels like the ones I purchased might have some sort of LSD tech. It still hasn't dropped a single battery bar!

Hi all!
I recently purchased myself a k200d, and I am new to dSLR's in general.
I was trying to take a quick test-shot of some stars, but I couldn't get it to focus. The result was this:
I set the focus to manual, and to infinite. Other settings were:
Exposure: 30 seconds
Focal Length: 50mm
ISO: 800
F: F/5.6
Spot Metering
Any hints?

Despite initial misgivings, I purchased Energizer 2450mAh "6 month discharge" batteries. To my surprise, they're still going strong after 350 shots from the initial charge using the stock charger!
They are marked "ACCU" and "AKKU" and are made in Japan. Perhaps a new formula?
