Yep, that's what I'm trying to do when there is a wall/ceiling available. But it's not always the case. Sometimes, I'm outdoor on the stage and I am shooting portratis of two or more people. Fors this work, I need flash + bounce card of a diffuser. I like the idea of "black foamie thing". It looks simple and effective. I've to try it.
This set-up works in a studio, but it's impractical when you shooting e.g. Awards during an event. ---------- Post added 23-01-24 at 09:59 PM ----------
I was looking at this modifier but decided to get Magmod-Starter kit 2.
I know it's not the same as an umbrella or a softbox, but it seems to be a stable and practical solution when you must be on your feet and move around the room or yard.

Thanks for your input, Class A. I have to agree more with you. I've noticed that RF60x has a very simple hot shoe connector compared to my old Metz A 50 flash and Pentax AF-360FGZ II flash (new item). In addition, the dimensions of the actual hot shoe of the RF60X are bigger than the hot shoe of the other two flash units. Therefore, I think the RF60x might slide off the camera hot shoe occasionally, which would cause a loss of connection.
I've now got the secondhand AF-360 FGZ II, but I need a suitable diffuser (hard to find) and a way to bounce the flash without the built-in card. Any ideas?

What makes the best photo? Well, it's gotta tell a tale and 'tango' with your soul. And this capture does just that.
Last September, my husband and our two furry pals were strolling down the beach in our coastal town in WA. The sky was something else – a celestial masterpiece with a sneak peek of the distant port. Clueless, Rob begrudgingly agreed to play model for me, not knowing what I saw. I tried to capture the divine balance between the cosmos and our little world – the negative and positive spaces dancing harmoniously.

Thank you for your reply, AlwaysAI. I purchased the flash bracket, and it worked. But, last night, I was shooting an event. I didn't need a flash during the event, but I wanted to use it for a group shot at the end. In this instance, I didn't use the bracket because I was using the Goddox barn doors, securely attached to my Cactus RF 60X flash. It was the first time, so I didn't want to add another device (the flash bracket) to my equipment. In addition, I was using fully charged rechargeable Eneloop batteries. I had tested everything prior to the group shot, and everything worked as it should. But not when I needed it. Then, I noticed that the flash unit wasn't sitting fully in the hot shoe. This actually happened previously, which makes me wonder if there could be either dirt or the flash unit is just not able to stay on the hot shoe securely ...?
I'm 100% certain that I push the Cactus RF 60X in properly before I lock it.

Hi UncleVanya, I've been on dpreview previously. All CTR links provided are for Windows only. I think I've now a solution - using my husband's PC. :-)
