Hi, sorry for the misleading. I mixed this with my memory about the mirror structure in Oly E300/330, coz I got my idea from that structure.
I think if the technology of cmos AF used in nikon 1 is successful, and it can be applied to APS-C size sensor, then this configuration will be working.

I had exactly the same idea, and had it discussed in some other forums, ppl suggested this a typical configuration used in some small DC and Panasonic G1 or GH1,can't remember the exact model, and one of the problem is that it is hard to put the image stabilization system to it.

the release price for D7000 in Japan is ¥ 138,000, which is only ¥1,000 less than the leaked price for K5 in Japan.
so K5 should have the similar price with D7000. NOT THAT HIGH AS SOMEONE THOUGHT

Has anyone here ever thought about why the Kx successor may name as "KR". "R" may stand for "Rotation". the body of Km/Kx has been used for two generations, need to be redesigned anyway to put on things like red spot, so might as well put on an" rotating screen". The entry level body should have many fancy features to attract new ppl.
And thinking backwards, Pentax may name there entry level product with their most outstanding feature since Km. like
Km, m stand for mini, as Km was claimed as the smallest DSLR at that time.
Kx, x stand for extra, as Kx has so many extra color to choose from.
and so as mentioned Kr.

Just feel that the hot shoe is quite at the back, and if taking photos at a very low angle like the one on pentax website. the shape of the hot shoe should not appear, should it?
I still believe it is 645D tho, just the photo shown on the website is weird.
