On DP Review they wrote the following quote about the K3III:
"PENTAX Real-time Scene Analysis System, supported by the latest artificial intelligence technology
Supported by the combination of the new, high-density RGBIr image sensor and the high-performance PRIME V imaging engine, the PENTAX Real-time Scene Analysis System instantly detects the subject’s face and eyes using the advanced image recognition technology, then makes real-time analysis of their movement. This assists the camera in optimizing exposure settings and improving autofocusing accuracy. By adopting Deep Learning**** — the latest, much-publicized artificial intelligence technology — the PENTAX K-3 Mark III assures more accurate subject detection and more reliable scene judgment."

Can you use a smart phone or tablet tethered wireless to sustitute a flip screen when shooting in awkward postitions?

Could that stacked sensor be something similar to the Sigma Foveon Sensor??

K3 and K3ii
I just recently found the sensor shift function to correct tilting lines in particular architectural photography.
Also, for when doing video - which certainly is not my strongest side - I found how to re-autofocus at the change of motives/scenes.
No continous autofocusing, just re-autofocus.

After having had the K20D for 11 years, I recently purchased the K3II.
During the years I have had great succes using Sensor Swabs and Eclipse cleaning fluid or later on APS-C Sensor cleaning swab kit with swabs already moist with cleaning fluid and seal-packed for cleaning the sensor in the K20D.
Now, in the manual for the K3II, the only solution for cleaning sensor, except the in-camera dust remove process, is the Pentax O-ICK1.
Is it now a NO-GO to use sensor swab cleaning for the K3II?

I use Silkypix Develoer Studio Pro 9 and have used it since version 1.
I bought it in the joint venture with the UK company and even though they split up, Silkypix allowed me to upgrade at reduced price.
I prefer using Silkypix over other RAW converters.
To me it's intuitive in a degree beyond the competition and it just gives better results.....to me.

I just purchased the K3/K3II e-book after donation.
All went smooth.
I now have it to read.
Looking forward to that.
Greetings from Denmark.

Is there a limit for what capacity of SD cards to stuff into my K3 II?
And now that we're at it; what class and other specs are the best suited for the K3 II ?

Do you have 2 similar lenses of that Vivitar model since both photos are taken at the exact same time with the exact same lens?

My strap mostly lean on my shoulder.
Once in a while I have it on my neck but I find it uncomfortable.
I would like one day to get the double strap.
On the K20D, I tend to see wear on the strap at the camera attachment.
It would have been beter with a ring/eye attachment, I think.

I would say:
One thing to look out for, no matter brand of camera, when buying used equipment is the state of the sensor.
It seems some people are using un dedicated ways of cleaning sensors.
Air compressors for instance.
Air compressors leave stains of oil on the sensor.
So what I would certainly do when buying used camera is to bring my laptop and a card reader and make some sensor inspection photos and make thorough inspections before paying up front.

I stopped down to f8-16 depending on lens.
And between every cleaning I had a different lens on just to make shure the lens wouldn't fool me.

A week ago or more I had some heavy dust issues in my K20D.
It was not able to eliminate with the build in dust removal shake function through the menu.
I spend all afternoon, with the remidies at hand, trying to solve this.
I used a brush and airball with marten hair (I think).
My magnifier for looking in was an 8X magnifier as the one used for negatives on a lightboard.
I also had had a magnifier for when repairing watches.
Since the dust issue stayed there, even though moving from one area to another on the sensor, in the end I grabbed something I should never have done, A handheld battery driven compressor.
Auch.
It removed the dust but small particles of oil was blown out together with the air and they were now stuck on the sensor.
So I left my camera on the shelf and went on eBay and other places ordering Eclipse E2, Sensor Swab 2, Giottos Rocket Air Blower and some Pentax original cleaning thing working as a sticky thing to remove known spots on the sensor.
To day I got the Eclipse E2 and Sensor Swabs.
So I started cleaning sensor.
And it obviously helped.
Inspection is done by photographing a clear blue sky and go 100% on a good CRT screen.
Cleaning were done in 3 tempi with inspection in between.
Less and less spots occured on the clear blue sky photos.
Every inspection consisted of 2-3 photos of different parts of the sky without taking off the lens.
Last inspection today showed a completely spotless sky on the first shooting.
However, on second photo I found a spot on the sky that could look like dirt/oil.
My Question is:
If inspection photo #1 is spotless and inspection photo #2 have a spot, will this spot be some element on the sky, like a very unsharp bird or insect?
Or am I doing this all wrong?

IF a fake of the Vacheron Constantin Tour D'Ille exists and cost a few hundred dollars, I would love to know where to get it.
Just for the design.

Please let me show the nicest design of my taste.
Buy that if the budget is high.
This is both front side and back side of same watch.
Many complications.
Calendar should go on for many years without adjustment.
However, when your children might take over, they will have to push a little button within the next 100 years.
But it will be written more specific in the user manual:
Enjoy.
