I am planning to post lenses for sale on this forum but am unsure how to price them. For example, I have a Zeiss 50 1.7, c/y mount and have seen prices ranging from $100.00 to $250.00. Thoughts? Suggestions?

Thanks for identifying the mount.

Not sure which group to ask, but how do I identify the lens mount on a new-to-me Zeiss 50mm 1.7?

I'm using a new to me Metz 58 AF2 on my k20d and had a quick question. When I attach my 50 mm FA 1.4 it shows up as an A70mm when using Pttl. I can change it to M50mm on the flash but should that be necessary?

FYI my 40mm shows up as a 50mm
My 70mm shows up as an 85mm

I'm a bit confused with the total actuations?
"We purchased it used with only 300 actuation and hasn't gotten much use since. "
Currently has "23K actuation's"

Thanks to all who responded, I have an appt. downtown (Sacramento) and I'm going to try my first street shots-
My goal, as always, is to take a shot that makes me feel ...something.
I have taken too many pictures that are of the "Yep, that's people walking down the street all right. Got some buildings too, look like stores or somesuch. Huh."

In the last month it's been a Sigma 8-16, Pentax 40mm ltd, and a Tamron 90mm 2.8 macro. Of course, my k20d finally returned after 7 weeks of repair vacation, so I'm thinking a new-to-me body as a spare. Since the $$$ has gone to good glass, maybe a used k10d or another k20d is my next purchase.

p.s. to fit with this lens buying theme, I'm hoping for a Panasonic 20mm 1.7 lens to go with my new to me Panasonic G1.

Just got a DA 40 ltd and wanted some advice as to what this lens excel at as I've not used a 40mm prime before. Looked at the lens review but would appreciate any opinions/thoughts/ etc.

I'm looking for a 300mm f2.8 prime lens and wanted to know if the Tamron Adaptall will
1-allow autofocus
2-allow "A" setting
or does it need to be a Pentax lens or ?
