I had the same problem, and it turns out that the mechanism that control the SR is malfunctioned. check if it does the same thing after you turn SR off in Video Mode. if the sensor still bounce around then the SR mechanism is broken. Generally it shouldnt affect photo quality, unless your exposure is long.

thanks for the response. I am an offroader and one day and forgot to secure my camera inside the cargo hold and it drop bounced one meter up and down to the metal flatbed. The impact must have damaged the camera. It still work, but SR seems a bit wacky now. :( ---------- Post added 10-08-2014 at 03:32 PM ---------- Guys, I found this website which might be useful Examine and clean a Pentax K-7 rear dial. | photographybanzai.com |

If they were that serious they would have expanded onto full frame market in the early 2000. I'm still waiting.

Hi Guys!
I don't know if anyone have had ever experience such weird problem.
I have recently bought a DA* 50-135 2.8 from a member here and it worked fine for a day, then the next day I tries to use the lens, the focusing ring doesn't want to focus - BOTH Auto and Manual focus does not work. It gets stuck close to the infinity side.
What I am saying is that when you tries turn the ring it will turn but the focus does not change. It may seem like the gear has detached, but then it works if you rock the ring back and fourth slowly.
There is definitely no sand or anything stuck in between, because the ring turn as smooth as butter. I also have not put it through the test of weather, so it's good! It also doesn't seem to be like the SDM motor problem, because i have never heard that the MF will also fail, usually the lens will still work manually, right?
I contacted the seller, he said he had never drop the lens (tho with scratch mark), and the parcel i receive seems to be a good condition so I don't want to accuse him with anything. But can someone point me at the right direction on what I should do in such situation/or what the problem actually is?
PLEASE HELP! Thanks! :(

I do not quite get this You are saying theres a way i can use M-lens with Wireless sync?
There is this Zenitar 16mm that I really want to make it work, but its such an old technology it doesnt have any pin. So what is the workaround?

I love using MF lens coz they are cheap and focus is sometimes easier. Oh wells.

Hi everyone!
I personally hate to post stupid question as i would only end up being belittled by my ignorance. But this question has been in my mind for a while, and I simply ran out of idea on what to check.
I want to use the 360 as a wireless slave, so I need to wirelessly sync it.
steps are:
1. connect unit to camera
2. set as channel 1, slave, on wireless mode
3. turn off camera, remove unit from camera
4. pop out the internal flash, choose wireless sync in the flash menu. I cannot complete step 4. The last 2 icons are greyed out. See below picture for the last two icon
I have read both K-x manual and 360 flash manual, none of them allow me to wireless sync.
Please see the picture attach, and can anyone tell me what to do? I have done it before, but it's been 6 months and I am too afraid to ask...

Greeting all torontonians!
I know this thread is getting a bit old, I attempt to come on saturday morning, end up comming @ 3pm, 401 was totally blocked up by a flipped over truck. Took me an 90 mins to get there, and then another 30 mins to park.
But yes, I am amazed that I get to play with the 645! It was lighter than what I expect too!
