It would make sense that it would just turn off the rear screen so it's not in while looking thru the viewfinder

I wouldn't really expect anything till May to June myself. Often when Pentax starts displaying prototypes it takes awhile for them to be released.

If they want to add any new features like charge via usb it'll have to at least be a D-I90B or something where it'll still work but have additional functions.
In the end thou I rather they pick a battery that works for the camera the best. If the camera does, and I'm not convinced it does, but if it has a hybrid viewfinder I would think a new battery would be in high order

Always nice to see new products, I've been wanting a Theta, but can't justify it for the amount I would use it. It certainly would be fun to have thou.

Thanks for sharing, I haven't seen this one yet. was a interesting to see they look like they will be making a series based around the subject. ---------- Post added 11-14-19 at 02:35 PM ----------
A red enhancing filter would not help in this case as the red that HA Nebula's glow at are on the border of the light transmission of the filter placed over the sensor. You can certainly use a ha filter but if the sensor is only seeing 15% of the light it's receiving exposures will be 4x longer and often with more noise. If the sensor is modded to allow the light to reach the sensor at 80-90% pass thru the signal to noise ratio is way way better.

It's too bad because other brands do offer adjusting at multiple points with the same lens.
To answer the original question of the op, the only way you could "double stack" adjustments is with say a Sigma or Tamron lens and using their branded docks. You could then adjust the lens individually and then again while on the camera body thru the camera itself.
At least I'm pretty sure that would work

Gotcha, thanks for the reply. Here's hoping mine is just taking a little extra time thru customs or something.

I saw the link to the promotional goods on Ricoh/Pentax NA Facebook page. I'm sure many others did as well, and just didn't race over to the forums to "spread the news"

Well at least with Pentax lenses, Fuji had rings on a large selection of lenses and even some of the new Sigma lenses for Sony have new rings. Maybe Pentax will follow suit and add them to future lenses as well.

I have had my k-3 converted by Kolari vision for the Astro mod, but would be similar to their ir mod. SR still worked fine, I'm not 100 sure if the built in dust removal worked but I usually use cleaning swabs anyways. Of course WB ect will be wonky but it'll still work normally. ---------- Post added 11-06-19 at 04:58 PM ---------- Also I didn't have any issues reaching Infinity with lenses

I also haven't had a good experience with Spencer's on conversions. Has anyone found anyone who does the debayering?

I think it makes it look more like it doesn't. The bezel would have to be non existent of there is one. It's possible but I wouldn't bet the farm on it
