just a quick recommendation for that Pentax DA12-24 f4... I made this decision just a few weeks ago. I was really trying to decide between it and the sigma, but I'm glad I spent the extra money. Its a lovely lens!

I had this happen on a photo I had on Pbase. It ended up on an insurance salesman's blog post.. I asked him to take it down, or at least give me credit and he never did.
So I built my own website... I host mine through Yahoo, and they have a very easy free program called "sitebuilder". Then I built in simple-viewer (using SV Manager) which does not allow the right click. (I suppose they can always screenprint if they want, but I keep my images small.. 500 pixels on the long side)

My current obsession is stereo photography... I haven't even started on it, but have been reading up on it and getting close to getting the equipment. I can see the possibilities!
(oh yeah, and how to go about buying that k7!!!!!)

Matt.. haha, thanks for the appetizer offer! I've used to have an rss feed for Craigslist pentax listings, but I got rid of it, because it so rarely happened!
I like being the red-headed stepchild with a Pentax. Little do the others know what they are missing! I do art shows, and cant tell you how many canon and nikon users have said.."you took that with a pentax"??? LOL!

Really great info, and some fun pictures! Thanks everyone for posting them! I'll wait to hear some user reviews when it comes out, but then it is definately on my "to buy" list!

Hello all! its been a while since I've participated in a photography forum. But with the advent of the K7, I was looking for specs and opinions, and found you all!
I used to shoot a film olympus 15 years ago, but then switched to point and shoots for a long time. My husband bought me a pentax ist DS in 2005, and digital was right up my alley. Now I'm just a little obsessive! ;) I'm co-teaching a class at my church, and doing some art shows.
