i never thought to check if there was film in it i removed it and it works - except that the problem withe shutter delay still exists regards ross

i notice that there is a button at the bottom of the camera when i press it i able to move the lever and take a shot but it seems to be a timing feature as there is what seems to be a delay in the shutter completing closing.?

i recently acquired a pentax sp1000 - i would like to know if it requires a battery to operate as the winder does not move. if it is a problem iks ther an easy fix regards ross
