Whoops...the 77mm doesn't have anything wrong with it. That was a mistake on my part when typing it up. I was putting so many things on sale that I added it in. It is in great shape!

Thanks for the input gents...it took me a while to find it but I did and it is reacting as I want it to. Too bad my flash is not working now. After trying to learn more about it and playing around it appears the flash head is dead.
PERFECT

I know that the aperture changes with zoom...but the shutter speed would normally have to go slower to make up the difference...but it is going faster. It would make it imposible to drag the shutter unless I go manual.

Well this is interesting.
I upgraded from a Pentax-360 to the new Metz AF-2. I am reasonably happy with it for the little amount of time that I have played with it...but:
I have my K-20 set on AV and I have my Tamron 18-25-mm installed. If I have the lens on 18mm not matter what the lighting conditions were before I turned the flash on...it goes to 1/30. As I zoom out the lens to 250mm the widest apeture goes from 3.5 to 6.3. As I zoom out the shuttle speed is changed to a faster speed until I am at 250mm/6.3f/1/180 s.
Is this just another "anti shake" built in feature? I find myself going to manual during times where I would like the quicker AV feature.
I thank you for all that reply.

Greetings all,
I have recently been playing around with the high-speed sync feature on my Pentax 360. I was purposly underexposing a scene within the camera and lighting my subject with an off camera 360 with the proper Pentax off shoe cable and Adapter F's.
Now the question. No matter what I adjusted the output to on the flash (-3.0 to +1.0) the output was the same. Afterwards I came inside and proceeded to test this. I found no matter what I had as a setting on my camera (either manual or Av with under and proper exposures) and once again adjusting the flash compensation to -3.0 and + 1.0 the flash output was once again the same.
Is there any one out there that has played with this feature and is there a way to control it further?
Thanks everyone.

Ok...I am not a TOTAL moron (don't ask my wife...her opinion does not count)
I am trying to clean my polarizer. A Hoya pro. The first time I found some small spots to clean I used my lens cleaning pen. Well that added some extra problems. So I stopped using that I am using a proper lens cleaning solution with a micro cloth and I can't get it all off...I just seem to be smearing it out. Now I have a circular haze. Is there a coating on these lens that I might damage with the cleaner...and if not does anyone have any better ideas?!?!?
Please?
