Pictures taken yesterday with the K20D and the Tamron AF 28-75mm/f2.8
The stage was 1.5meter up from floorlevel, hence no feet visible in the pictures.
The trio call themselves Alcazar and play/perform a disco-house-dance mix of music.

Nice colors in this set, i really like the broken down car. It almost looks like a stranded whale with blood all over it. Maybe my imagniation is a bit out there ? :)

Thank you for your input marc and joey. :)
I forgot to mention that i already have a fa 50mm/f1.4 and a tamron 28-70mm/f2.8 for concert shots and the longer lens would be used for situations when you cant get close enough.
If anyone has experience with the other lenses please let me know what you think of them.

Hello all.
Iīm planing to buy a maual prime in the 100-150 range, i recently upgraded my K200D to a K20D, and since the K20D has a way bigger viewfinder i find manual focusing to be much easier.
I have four to chose from and i would like your input on wich one would be the best choice, or maybe they are pretty much the same when it comes to Colors, CA and PF?
The lens i chose will be mostly used for portraits and concerts. These are the ones up for grabs:
Tokina 135/2,8 RMC
Cosina 135mm/f2.8 MC
Pentax 135/f3,5 SMC-M
Pentax SMC 135/3,5
They are all in the same pricerange so price wont be a deciding factor.
Any input is most welcome.

Hello pentaxians, a few days ago i took some pics with the 50-200mm when me and the family visited a zoo.
I recognized most of the animals but some of them i couldnt recognize nor find any info about.
Maybe our big community can help me? here goes: Birdie. Cool looking monkey. Guessing here, Wallaby?
Appreciating any help you can give me.

That bird in shot #2 really makes that picture stand out compared to the other pics, not that they are bad, but #2 is great :)

Great shots fejker, the first thing on my mind was "what lens is he using" you answered that in your own post.
My 2 cents!
#1 have great colors and sharpness, i also like the expressions on the kids faces, one is thrilled the other tense.
#2 Is realy really good, the softness add to the emotion in the picture.
I think iīm gonna have to get me my own manual 1,7 soon :)

Ok, i tought the non apo was supposed to be worse than the pentax 50-200 and that the apo version was better than the pentax zoom.
But maybe you did get a bad copy of your pentax lens. Anyway, whats important is that you are happy with your current lens. :)

Igilligan, thx for your comments, i am actually going back to shoot that tree again, i will try your suggestion among with other ideas i have. And i hope to run into a fallow deer or two.
CWyatt: Did you buy the APO version? I considered buying that one, but when the offer to buy this lens came up, i couldnt stop myself.
redpigeons: I guess itīs all about luck, tho i donīt know if my copy is any better than what anyone else have. Iīve seen great and poor pictures taken with the 50-200mm as i have with pretty much any lens. Iīm glad to see you were impressed
