Lovebird chatting up a rabbit in the backyard. There are feral flocks of these parrots in Arizona. |

Thank you. I do not know if I would go back to the cul-de-sac with snakes dropping out of the sky! I was lucky with the kestrel, he was perched on the top of a tree during a windy day. Just had to wait him out. |

I have one of those Kestrels always going after my local desert spiny lizard. Spiny is quick though and ducks away every time. If my better half saw that snake falling out of the sky the hikes would be over, dead or not! |

Thank you. I was lucky to walking by the dining room window at the right time. ---------- Post added 02-18-18 at 06:50 PM ----------
Trust me the lizard rules the wall. I think he was surprised as I was. Sort of like 'you have to be kidding.' ---------- Post added 02-18-18 at 07:01 PM ----------
I really appreciate the advice. I did use the anti blur sharpening and it really cleaned up the photo. I had never seen any confrontation between the lizard and rabbits before. Bugs must have been having a bad day.

Spiney has claimed the wall his as his own for the last couple of years. He was not about to let a mere rabbit push him around. |

Thank you. Yes, I love the lens. The owls are patient and allow you to get somewhat close if they are not nesting, but the 01 just would not do it.

Burrowing owl outside his den. Normally quite skittish and head below ground rapidly. He decided to stand his ground. I do like this lens!
Feisty little owls! [img]

Got lucky early this morning. About 6 feet away. As is normal with hummingbirds I was treated to a few irritated chirps in my face a few moments later! |

He/she was quite comfortable. Did not want to destroy the moment by moving. Thank you for your comment.
