Hi

More than 5 years since last post here
More than 6 years since last dslr photo on flickr
More than 10 years since last dslr bought

I'm back!

I bought brand new K200D 2008 or 2009 (too lazy to open LR on desktop computer), I took thousands photos from anything around me
For some reason hobby goes on idle mode after many active years, I'll take some family photos but hardly anything else.

Couple of months ago I'll started feeling some odd sensations near my dusty camera bag, I have to check and clean my gear. I bought old Tokina RMC 400mm 5.6 lens (20€) and some other cheap stuff, I'll took some photos and it feels so gooood... (unfortunately I have been so busy that all photos are taken on own yard)
2 weeks ago I was checking some 2nd hand website and I saw guy selling K-5 II for 340€ (about 405 USD) we started negotations, finally yesterday we made deal, 260€ (310$) for body, charger, 2 batteries and generic grip. Body is almost unused, shuttercount 2137!!
I can't wait to get it my hands...

Do You think I notice diffrence between K200D and K-5 II ?
Anyway it was time to get new body, K200Ds shuttercount is 53062 and internal battery is dead, but otherwise it has served me great throug these years.

I'll send some shots as soon as possible

Photo and camera sites are not good for sending photos. There are too many good photographers around there.
To get faves and comments in flickr you need to be in right groups and do some fave whoring 😉 or you have to be ultimately good.

Lightbulb I commented your photos and liked also 😊.

I put my shot on critique section and no comments 😐

It is not fair that OP put that awesome pics in first post.

But here is some my favorites:

In this one I was trying to use 68mm extension and 135mm+50mm stacked. I missed focus and it is under exposured. Not cropped.
Evarcha falcata by LeGuillotine, on Flickr

Pentax K200D + Cosina 135mm stacked with chinon 45mm pancake + 68mm extension. more than 4x magnification I think. Unfortunately dof is too thin and it is not sharp :( but I like it anyway

Hi all!

In finnish consumer technology magazine was test, where they tested gadgets against cold. Only camera was K5-II and it gets 5 stars out of five!
They tested also laptop, mobilephone and some other stuff. I didn't read it carefully, but they mentioned that highend Pentax cameras cameras are sealed well and Pentax is right camera for people that don't care about weather.
And here is the cover (Jäässä means frozen):

LeGu

Btw sorry for my bad english.
