I just purchased Lightroom 2 full version from ebay. Is this a stand alone program or do I have to purchase Photoshop as well?? Am I losing anything by not having photoshop for processing RAW images and just using Lightroom? I Was going to use the Pentax photo browser 3 program or picasa for photo browser. I am new to DSLR and processing but everyone has been talking about the ease of use and excellent results of this program .

The k2000kit2 does not come with a lens hood on either of the lenses

Just got the kit!! It came with the DA-L lenses. Got the kit for $520.00 shipped. Should I return for the D200D or 20D and spend the extra money?? Will these DA-L lenses work on any other Pentax DSLR if I upgrade at a later time?? I am a first time user.

This is my first Digital SLR. I have purchased a K2000 with both the 18-55 and 50-200mm lenses. Should be arriving today. I have a couple of questions. The store on-line that I purchased through states it comes with the SMCP-DA 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 ALll (21717) and the SMCP-DA 50-200mm f/4-5.6 ED (21567). Are these lenses better than the DA-L series? The site now shows the DA-L series and not the ones mentioned. I do have a print-out of the page. Should I push for the above lenses or a price reduction or be happy with the DA-L series.
