I've ever encountered the same problem in my Sigma 30/1.4. Then I realized it has centering defect issue. It has been in Japan for 1 month, still no news.

OK, Let's hope the pre-production lenses all have BF/FF issue.
Or it has 1 missing glass inside. ;)
So that's the reason the pics are soft.

See...???
When you add the glass pic, it will boost the sale. Ok, lowering price also boost the sale.
BTW, the glass is really clean and shine, Tom!!

Front and rear pics of glass would accelerate the selling.
Good luck with the sale, Tom.
Empty some space for 60-250 my friend?

Sony STF 135 does DEFINITELY have the smoothest and creamiest bokeh from that test. rparmar, is there any Pentax lens which has similar bokeh?
If Sony was collaborating with Samyang, their lenses price will be significantly cheaper. Too bad they decide to go with CZ.
I can't jump to Sony's ship.
Pentax, do not disappoint me with your upcoming DA 15mm please? Or bring out DA* 85/1.4 Polar edition?

The flowers.. I saw another echoing bokeh.
But I must say THX, it will be my main reason not to buy this lens.
As a f/1.4 lens, bokeh quality must be really pleasant as it will be used wide open frequently.

Correct me if I'm wrong. But is it only me who considering the bokeh of DA 55 is a bit distracting?
The bokeh is halloing, similar like DA 35 macro.

If I remembered correctly, yes it does.
Too bad I can't confirm it since its foot is broken and I've been waiting since 1.5 month ago for replacement.

your unit basically the same as mine. Coz it use the same (identical) transmitter. Means my transmitter can trigger your receiver and vice versa (if the channel is set match).
Your receiver use 1 pcs CR2 3V while mine use 2 pcs AAA batt.
Would you please try this?
- Replace batt of transmitter with new one. Duracell 23A 12V is cheap.
- Replace batt of receiver with new one.
- Set the channel in OFF-OFF position.
Wait... is there any chance you already mod your transmitter? I mean adding external antenna or coiled wire?

It was taken 10 minutes ago. I took 10 pics and all are synced fine @ 1/160s.
So... which trigger you currently have?

I did tested 5 minutes ago without any problem with RD-604. It shares with the same transmitter (RF-604 or RF-04), like yours.
K20D + 540 FGZ @ 1/160s.
Are you sure you've replaced the stock battery with the new one?
