Think I've found the problem.
Spring was attached between 1 & 2
Should be connected between 2 & 3?

I think it's going to need to be fixed by someone with smaller fingers than me though.

Couple more bits of info........
With the lens off camera, turning the aperture ring does not change the aperture (unlike the others)
Stop down control on lens moves anti-clockwise and closes aperture (others clockwise and opens aperture)

Attached to the filter in the stopped down position

Compared to 50mm in stopped down position

Not sure if this belongs here or the Lens discussion Forum......

I'm hoping to use my Pentax lenses on a mirrorless. The adapter I have works OK on most but not on the 35mm.
The stop down lever works in the opposite direction!? so the adaptor doesn't engage.

Can't get my head around this at all
Any help would be much appreciated.

My favourite is the couple on the right, the guy with the dog and the lady with the shopping bag. Not sure who invited Darth Vader though!

Thanks for the nominations.
This was taken a little over a year ago when the Mayans told us the world was going to end.
I was taken by the apparent different types of people waiting for the sunrise and then out of the corner of my eye I saw the walker who didn't seem at all interested.
Then it was just a matter of inwardly screaming at a couple of people to settle just in time for the walker to reach the gap.

Great reflections and a nicely balanced composition.
Is there any more detail and contrast you could bring out in the clouds?

This was taken last week while on holiday, it was the colours of the lily that attracted me to this macro shot.

I like this one as the grace belies the huge strain he must be under.

I like the dynamic between the screwheads and the centre of the web, this also mirrors the triangle of the frame. Nice one!

Thanks both, very useful info.
I'm keeping my eye out for a Vivitar 19mm (budget constraints)

Am I correct in thinking I can select aperture on dslr, use DOF preview and retain aperture when put on film body?

Think I might have answered my own question

RiceHigh has actually done some testing on this, I might be able to push it to 24mm if I don't mind some 'artistic' vignetting.

DA 18-55mm on 35mm Body????

I'm hoping to use my DA 18-55 on a ME Super.
Appreciate there will be issues with image circle and aperture control but if it's physically possible will I have any greater field of view than with a 28mm?

If this is a stupid idea please tell me :)
