The pancake 40 in chrome was just a prototype? What a shame.
For how many do you name the CPC versions? The search found just one, the 28/2.8 Takumar-A
How about the 24/2.8, just to mention the shortest one.
Is there any matching device for the Cosmicar-A 28-80/4 at all?
The Pentax Cosmicar 28-80/3.5-4.5 should match the Pentax-A 28-80mm F3.5-4.5, but is not mentionned there. The Pentax CPC Phase 2 28-80/3.5-4.5 could be a very different device.
I'm sure you know Pentax Zoom Lenses without SMC Coating and had your reasons not to order it that way. But claiming a complete list is a very ambitious aim.
BTW: Is there any way to sort found hits? Search e.g. by Takumar - it's very difficult to get a good idea of those models since it's not sorted by focal length and does not mention the mount as a sort option either.
And, on the other hand, do you mention about models which are sold as pentax, but are rebranded 3rd party?

The todays newsletter claimed a complete list of lenses.
Is this possible at all?
How about e.g. the 2007 Pentax Takumar-DA 40/2.8 AL Limited in chrome?
Pentax K 8.4/2.8 Birds-Eye (or Fish-Eye) from 1982?
All the CPC Phase 2 and Cosmicar lenses (just one is mentionned)
Not to speak of some lists where I do not even know whether they actually were real:
Pentax K 20/1.4 (1976)
Pentax K 300/2 (1977)
Pentax M 32-39/2.8 Flexi (1978)

Thanks for the database.
I feel it does lack some very interesting informations, such as
- begin of production
- end of production / end of availabiltiy / end of appearance in official price lists
It does lack recommended price tags, which should be differed by year and country.
Even further, it could give typical prices for used items, derived from the market or buyers, as well as a virtual price recommendation from original prices, age and review ranking.

Now there are hundreds of people, watching the article count, ready to trigger the submit button for the millionth posting?
I wonder how the server load does jump around this number.
