Lovely shot. Great composition, timing (couple on the right) and tone. Cheers.

Avoid at all costs. I've seen and dealt with operations like this in the past. Chances are good you will end up with a gray market product. Not worth the risk.

The K10, K20 and K200d are also weather resistant. These are older models without video that can still be found for great prices. You might want to check the camera review section for detailed info. Cheers.

Color all the way. One can almost hear the sounds and smell sea air. Very nice.

I agree with opfor. Shoot and see. This might also determine camera performance after sitting
around without being used for so long. Leaf shutters are notorious for inaccuracy long inactivity. Good luck.

I wonder if the op meant "best sound", period? In the end that's all that matters, right? Who gives a rat's pitooty about dynamic/freq range & all the other mumbo jumbo? Imho 1/2" tape sounded best followed by vinyl, sacd/dvd-a & cd respectively.

My name is Oscar and I hail from a wacky yet wonderful town known as Brooklyn,
New York. I am child of the 60's and 70's and unfortunately still kind of stuck back there. Change has never been one of my strong points but, I do love the direction photography has taken these past few years. I am especially excited about the ablity to create and to experiment with this fairly new technology. Never having a darkroom of my own due to expense and space issues, I can now persue what has been a lifelong dream and become a serious photographer. Judging from what I've seen on this site, Pentaxians are a well informed and passionate lot. I hope to be the same someday. Cheers all, Oscar.
