Camera bag suggestions?

I've been looking for a new bag and am currently leaning toward the Lowepro Flipside bag(s). I've tried the 100 which I don't think is available anymore and is at a local store here. It holds my K20 with a 70-300 lens on it with plenty of extra room for at least 3-4 more lenses. The larger sizes of course have more space. I like it for the security aspect as well as it being very compact.

Has anyone else tried the Flipside? I haven't purchased it so am still looking at whatever I can. The price is good on these too.

Do you recommend any place to get the eyepiece. I've not found any except on ebay at this time and they don't seem be priced like what I was expecting.

I was hoping to see pictures of the dogs on the link and wasn't able to see anything there except for the main page.

I've been able to find some manual primes at local camera stores for reasonable prices where you can actually see them and try them out before buying.

$238.66 isn't bad for a WR version. Of course, lower is always better if you can find it.

I'd be happy with that picture. I have a 135 manual prime right now which is my longest lens. I love the prime, but am not sure I'd be able to get the same shot from it unless I was really close.

There wasn't much to misunderstand. I asked a direct question and was told that the macro filter kits were the ones to get and that the Raynox should not be considered. The main reason seemed to be based on ease of use as opposed to results.

Welcome to the world of digital, where you can exeriment to your heart's content and delete what you don't like without having to pay for film processing. It's a big reason I took the plunge into the DSLR world.

The M primes are easy to find at a good price and give you so many more options...

Wouldn't there be more options to use it with the zoom lens? I was looking at the link and it looked like a fun lens.

It was a Pentax 135mm but the results were better than expected. The 2 pictures I posted were with this lens.

After I bought my K20d, I went out and got some duplicates of manual lenses that I had when I owned a K1000 back in the 80's. I found a used Pentax manual 50mm f/1.4 and a 135mm and am getting a cheaper Tamron zoom while I save up for better AF wide angle and zoom lenses. I'll go with those while I re-teach myself photography. For some reason the 18-55 kit lens just doesn't give me the results I want, whereas the cheap 135mm manual prime lens took some pictures I liked right at the beginning.

So a manual Tokina 24-40 would not be worth getting unless it was really cheap?

Congrats on the K20D.

I have the 135mm 3.5 and like it a lot more than I ever thought. I have a 50mm 1.4 that gives me good shots in a dark hallway...I'm amazed at the picture quality of the manual prime lenses.
