thanks everyone
I used my build in flash to trigger both flashes.
I think the best way will be to buy another set of cactuses and mount each flash on a reciever

I'm trying to put two flashes off camera using cactusV5.
One is 540 other one 360.
I'm definetely doing something wrong. I have put 540 as a master mode and put it on cactus receiver (channel 1 ) and put 360 in slave mode ( using channel one for both flashes), cactus transmitter is in channel one and put in camera shoe.
So 540 works and 360 doesnt.
I'm missing something?
Really appreciate your help
thank you

I have pentax K-7 and have always been using auto mode almost all the time.
So as i understand white balance depending on ambient light present will be recorded differently on your DSLR . In harsh light it will be - more blue ( sun, shade, cloudy) and in less harsh light it will be warmer - more redish/yellow colors( candles tungsten, inside light).
So i tried to take pictures inside (tungsten light i guess), tungsten mode gave me too "white" of a picture, kinda flat and boring picture, while auto did give me closer to real shot. I dont get it why it works this way
Then i tried to do custom white balance but instead of taking a gray card( i didnt have it) i heard people sometimes use white piece of paper. After setting it up and taking a shot it appeared even more yeallowish - too warm to be true.
I did it couple of times. And it is the same result.
Am I doing something wrong?????
What other custom white balance tips you have in your arsenal? Do you always have to use gray cards to customize white balance. What are the instances you customize it?
Appreciate it

I have questions.
Can somebody advice on what equipment is best if i want to have a two off camera flashes to take interior shots?
I read a lot and it is kinda overwhelming. And major sources are for canon and nikon.
What pentax flash is best for that purpose ( i bought one AF360 for now). What system to use to connect'em? wireless/infrared ?
Also in terms of flash/umbrellas stands, which is the lightest and the best?
Thanks everyone

Thank guys
I understand all those questions and they are important. This will be my part time/weekend job. I have a primary job.
I did find out about the rates for that kind of photorgaphy and i talked to couple of people who do that. The worst part know is that real estate agencies do take pictures themselves nowadays, but not all of them use professional equipment.
I just wanted to know about specific gear for pentax that is an absolute must have for me initially. I have all necessary software at this point.
