Sorry to confuse everyone. All I want to do is put the flash on a tripod. Duct tape would work but I prefer some sort of adaptor. Pentax imaging shows the adaptor but is no longer available. B&H and Adorama do not have it. any suggestions? Thanks for the info though.

I looked at the pentax web site and found that an off camera flash adaptor is no longer available. I have checked various web sites but am confussed by all the things not pentax. Is there an off camera flash adaptor that will work with AF 360FGZ flash?

First, Welcome and read the posts. I have learned a lot myself from the questions and answers here on the forum. My I suggest, as a newbie myself, to use the kit lens for a while. See if it gives you what you are looking for. I went out and purchased a few lens with my first pentax and found that I should have experimented first and learned the camera. I would have not made some of the purchases I did. Good luck and keep reading

I am told that these tree photos are not focused. I used AF but must agree that other photos from K5 are much better.
Is this a front focus problem or am I using the wrong focal point?

With all the turmoil and suffering going on in the world, Otis and his army maybe just what we need to keep our perspective on the world. I just wish that my pictures with the K5 would come close to the ones posted. Thanks Rupert, Adam for his work on this site, and all who have provided inspiriation, education, and a smile. Paul

I can only speak from what I do. If inside a building the B would do very well. When outside I use the tamron 18-200.

With all the different classes for SD cards, the question is will they work in all cameras or does the camera have to have firmware update to accept a new class? I'm sure this has come up before but could not find the thread.

I have used the AF360 a few times and have not had any problems. I have never used the Katz eye though so it is hard to give you a good answer.

Question is how to remove the post in the lower right corner. I tried to crop it out and the picture loses something in mho. The second one was a "I should'nt be here this close" no time to ask for a pose.

Thanks. too late to try this now but will try a morning shot with tripod. I tried to delete the other two posts but seem to miss something in the process. If some one could delete them I would appreciate it.
