It's interesting that AF is seen as a must have for sports. Whatever did we do back in the pre-AF day?

I'd also go with the 50-135, unless you want fast AF.

Image Transmitter is a wholly separate piece of software from anything that comes with the camera, and you have to buy it.
It's expensive, c£200, and can be purchased from Pentax EU. You could try SRS in Watford.
It's designed for PC based remote control/studio work with various Pentax cameras.

When I did a 6 week trip to New Zealand a few years ago, I bought a high-end bridge camera with a decent zoom range to take with me in order to ensure I was travelling as light as possible, and had no regrets.
There is plenty of good advice in this thread as to what to take centred on your existing kit, so will make no further comments regarding kit choice, but I will comment on advise in one of the posts regarding dress/act like a tourist.
Personally I would strongly advise against this. It makes you a target.
I buy strong 'bag for life' style carriers bags from local supermarkets and carry camera equipment in them, using Tenba BYOB style bags to house the actual kit, and use wrist straps for the cameras, not shoulder straps. Nothing says tourist/expensive kit more than obvious camera bags.
European cities are no longer as safe as they were, so take all the same precautions to ensure your personal safety as you would in any dodgy neighborhood back home.
Sorry if this post is a bit negative, but you're going to a lovely city to experience some amazing sights and culture. The last thing you need is be carrying kit around that will get exponentially heavier as the day goes on, and not feel/be relaxed enough to enjoy the trip.

You can always use a step up ring on a lens that takes a smaller filter, and either forego use of a lens hood, or buy a 72mm lens hood and accept that it won't be perfect on the smaller lens.

You refer to the camera as if it's new to you. Could be you simply need to adjust the viewfinder diopter for your eyesight. The adjuster is underneath the eyecup.

My Limiteds live in their leather bags when not in use.
Are yours on display?
Just wondering.

It's not that good on the left, but agree much worse on the right.
I'd suggest put camera and lenses on a tripod. Find a nice brick wall. Set up the camera at 90 degrees to the wall, making sure the camera is level, take photos at various focal lengths and post back here.

Take a look at the Op Tech accessory bags. I use one - the 11" I think - and it holds all by Limiteds and other lenses.

Back in the film era, when digital just didn't exist, some of us took selfies. We put the camera on a tripod, composed the scene in the view finder, set the camera's timer, then walked back in front of the camera to join our family, friends or just pose in front of something special.
Oddly enough, I've found you can do this today with a digital camera with a fixed rear screen! :)

It looks damaged to me. Left hand side. Any more photos, preferably square on to the lens base so we can see the camera side of the mount clearly.

On the UK Amazon site it's £30.25. Not sure what the £ to Euro exchange rate is, but includes free delivery.
Can't see a large letter posted from UK to Netherlands containing these charts attracting much in the way of vat or duty, especially if the contents of the envelope are just paper/card items of notional value being sent between private individuals/addresses.
If the Amazon UK price is good, know anyone here in the UK who could help?

Camera updates time, date, gps coordinates from the phone app doesn't it, or have I got this wrong? Again, afaik, the phone doesn't need network signal, just needs to be on.

I too think the lens has a problem arising from the repair. Get whoever did the repair to sort it.

I find the question interesting too. From time to time threads on here and similar sites have appeared seeking assistance from people with disabilities of various kinds, including being unable to use hands, arms, etc, so a forum search might help if you haven't already done it? Solutions I recall include using WiFi remote controls or a phone app with the camera mounted on a tripod or similar. Cameras with touch screen operation could be worth exploring too.

I'd say if the printer is new, i.e. straight out of the box, send it back and get it exchanged. No reason you should mess about with a repair if you don't need to.

I'd suggest a temperature of -5 to 0 is extreme, especially for a battery powered device. Have you experienced the same camera issues in warmer conditions? The camera body may be ok down lower than -5, but battery performance drops off very quickly in low temperatures. Advice is always to keep charged batteries warm inside your coat until needed, then put into the camera, but be prepared to keep swapping the batteries over.
