No I didn't switch because of one camera. I switched because lack of possible upgrades. Waited 2 years. I had to sell k7 + 3 lenses.

I'm so glad I switched to Nikon. I would be very angry to see how instead of something to upgrade to from K-7/K-5 Pentax launches this. This is a really bad idea.

Well they did persuade some of us :(
After 2 years of using K-7 and waiting for a decent update I finally bought D700 last week. I sold almost all Pentax lenses, left only k-7 body with one lens. I can't part with it :)
But my future investment moved from Pentax to Nikon.
It just took too long. It was a hard decision.
