How can I make a catalog about the photos? I think about keeping the names there will be other people who will help identify the names of the people in the photos, if I'm not mistaken.

If I remember, there will be some other friends who will accompany me during the graduation. If I'm not mistaken, the organizers will ask us/me to put the files in a USB pendrive or DVD and give it to them.
In short, they will hire me just to take photos using the equipment that I have right now and only give the photos that I will take to them.

I believe what @Lowell Goudge said is true. It's not what the equipment that counts but the person behind the camera.
I do get the point here, it's just that I'm still not sure how much I should offer the cost of my time for taking the photos. Should I rate hourly, per day (half day) or other specific things?
To explain more, I'm taking photos for the graduation service, such as the graduates marching down the aisle, and group shots out the church probably. As I said, I only have those two equipment. No external flashguns used. I'm willing to invest in a 50mm but I doubt it because I don't have the money right now.

OK. Although I've been a member here for some times already but my knowledge is not that much when relating to fees and charge for shooting.
The thing here is my college asked me to help take photos for a graduation and it will be during a weekend - Friday to Sunday. I will most probably only take photos half day. With only a Pentax K10D and a 18-55mm kit lens, how much should I charge?
Thanks for your suggestions, comments and advices in advance. I may have to tell the person in charge by the end of this week though.

I'm not a beginner to photography but I want to learn to do studio photography. Since money is an issue for me and I probably would spend like $200. What items I should have for studio lightning? I was thinking of having an umbrella but not sure which is better - shoot through or reflective ones. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

Hi guys.. I just want to ask if anyone has any experience on using a SUNTAX 928AFC flash. Recently, a friend of mine lend me his flash since I don't have any external flash yet. The flash does works on my K10D. I just want ask what the sign on the back of the flash means... they are - T , S , W1 , W2..
What's the use of the ISO thing? Does it means that I have to set the ISO on camera to be the same as the ISO on the flash?
Another question is how do I bounce it in when taking portraits? FYI, the flash only tilts and doesn't swivel. I knew of some bounce card but not really sure of how to make one for a tilt flash.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Charlie

Hai guys, I just found my dad's old flashgun while looking for some old camera accessories for my K10D in my family's storeroom. I'm wondering whether a Yashica CS-220 flashgun is compatible with the K10D. Thanks.

Thank you guys for those suggestions. I will try to find what's good for me. Has anyone tried the Vivitar DF 4000MZ P-TTL Flash? Is it a good flash for the K10D?

Thanks for the suggestions. My intended budget is around USD 150. I don't have a clue on what brand of flashguns that are compatible with the K10D. Some of the flashguns that I view are higher that USD 200 so I'm looking for a good budget flashgun which I can use it off camera or on camera.

Hello all! I'm new to the thread and also the forums. I own a Pentax K10D which I bought recently. I have decided to buy a flash gun but it seems that I'm still a student and I only plan to buy a good budget flash gun because I have some kind of financial problem. There are some good flash guns but it seems that they are more than I can afford. Do you guys know any good ones? Thanks in advance.
