You willing to sell as separate items? If so, what you asking for the grip?

I shoot with a K20D and I live in North Phoenix next to North Mountain. The only thing is I don't have a car, but I would be interested in doing a meetup if it's somewhere along a bus line.

Thanks for the reply's,
Ron Kruger, whats the best way to clean the sensor? My focus might have been off a little, I was using my Pentax-M 50mm F1.7.
kh1234567890, that's what was confusing me. I set the camera to what the light meter read. So I guess I need to use the EV compensation.

Thanks for responding Mark.
I think I just need to work a little more on the files in Photoshop, I also noticed tilting my monitor I get better colors, doesn't look so washed out.
I guess I was just needing someone with a calibrated monitor to take a look at the RAW file and let me know what they thought of the exposure.
Thanks for your time.

Hey all,
Hope you can help me out. I just received my AlienBee 800 with the 22" beauty dish. A friend of mine offered to let me photographer her to test out the light.
I am a little disappointed in my quality of my exposure. I used a Sekonic L-358 light meter, with the settings of 60 sec - f/8.0 and ISO 100 and in RAW. When viewing on my display on my camera all looked really good but when I imported into Lightroom the exposure looked awful. It looks so "muddy", I understand I might have to do some adjustments but didn't think it would be this much.
Attached is a sample, no adjustments made to photo.
Any help or advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Craig

I already have a Sunpak 433D, Sunpak 422D and a 45" and 60" umbrellas with radio triggers, light stands, color/temperature gels.
I was thinking about getting the AB800 for a main light so that I would have a little more power when outside.

Thanks for all the great advice everyone. I think with the lenses I have they will be good enough for now. I am going to upgrade from my speedlight and umbrella to the AlienBee and softbox/Beauty dish.
Thanks again

Wow RioRico... you just made my life a whole lot more confusing :-)
I had spent most of the weekend researching lenses and pretty much came to those 2 as my final decision. I already have the Pentax 18-55mm kit lens, the Pentax 55-300mm lens, a manual SMC Pentax 50mm f/1.7 and a manual Sears 135mm f/2.5.
I was looking for something sharper then the AF lenses I have and from my research those both are sharp lenses.
Funny thing was Friday I was all gunho to use the extra income ($500.00) on a AlienBee light, large softbox and 22" beauty dish. Maybe I should just use the lenses I have and get the lights.

I tried posting to a old thread but it wouldnt let me. So I am creating a new one.
So I am thinking about getting this lens. How would you rate it for doing portrait (glamour) head shots to full body. Also be used for indoor studio and outdoor shots.
It's between this lens and a Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8.
Thanks for any advice you can give me.

The only reason I was going with those two was because they are the best ones I saw on Dell's website. I know it is kinda dumb to throw it on a credit card when there are cheaper lights out there. Guess I should just save my pennies.
Thanks for the advice.
BTW I was just planning on using the flashes manually so I guess there is no need for the TTL stuff.

Hey all,
I know this is a Pentax site but I am wanted to buy a good speedlight for some Strobist work. I have a Dell credit account and they only offer Sony, Nikon & Canon speedlights.
After comparing them at Speedlight Feature Comparison Side By Side - Strobist Data i-TTL E-TTL | Speedlights.net
I have decided on either the Nikon SB-900 or the Canon 580EX II, I was hoping you guys could give your opinion of these.
Thank for you time and input.
