Question: What do people think is a fair price for a K-7 body? Working well but used with 60k photos taken. Can't find any reference to how much people would buy it for...

PM-ed you.

A few bits and bobs I'll also be selling:
- A Pentax off-camera flash cord
- D-LI90 battery and charger (both genuine Pentax)
- K-7 body
And that Hoya 58mm HD UV filter is currently listed with the 31mm as it's the right size for that, but selling it separately too.

Wish I had the money to just pick up the Fuji and keep the Pentax stuff, but unfortunately not. Bit of a trade off really.
If Pentax come out with a 24mm f/2 I might buy back in...

Sorry had a hiccup there, just started relisting properly with photos: https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/photographic-equipment-sale/224486-sale-p...ml#post2382356

Going to get a Fujifilm X100s. Love the Pentax set up but can't argue with a pocket-sized, silent and fast 35mm equivalent with big optical viewfinder. Sure I'll miss the Pentax sometimes and the 31mm, but can't afford to run both...

Item Description
Pentax FA 31mm f/1.8 Limited (black)

Comes with: front and rear Pentax caps, Pentax box and documents, Pentax leather 31mm bag
Location: New Zealand, originally bought from PF forum member in Australia. Bag bought from PF member in France.

Excellent condition. Glass is beautiful, a few small rubs on the paint on bottom side of built-in hood and cap from resting/being in my bag.

A reluctant sale but I need the money for other things. You only have to see the reviews to know how highly thought of this full-frame lens is. Exceptional build and optical quality. Quite astounding right from f/1.8 – by far the best performing optical quality lens I’ve ever used. Especially noted for its out-of-focus rendering.

Always used by me with a 58mm Sigma HD UV filter on the front.

HOYA HD UV 58mm filter: US$35

About the best UV or protective filter money can buy. Made in Japan.

Bit of a sale coming up from me. Will upload soon to the PF marketplace:
K-7 body
Pentax 31mm f/1.8 Limited
Pentax flash hotshoe cable
Metz 58 AF-2 flash for Pentax
Pentax shutter release cable
Orbis ring flash
Hoya 58mm HD protecter filter
B+W 49mm F-PRO UV MRC filter
2x Pentax DSLR batteries and chargers

Love my Pentax gear but, being largely a single lens user, have decided to move into the mirrorless fixed-lens world for my own work.
Let me know on the PF marketplace link I'll add soon if you're interested in anything.

Just logged onto here after a while of busy shooting.

Firstly thanks for the thanks on the Online Photographer post, bit out of the blue but rather cool, sure sent the interest in my website into orbit.

Secondly if there's anyone interested or about I currently have an exhibition at Photospace gallery in Wellington. On till early March.

Thirdly, I'd really like to thank NZ_Ross for the loan of now TWO of his lenses, I've been shooting a series for NZ Geo and they've been really, really useful. I didn't have the pocket to pick up any more lenses and he just lent them to me out of generosity, and I'd really like to put out there what a nice and generous thing that is to do. Top chap.

Hello! Sorry I only just picked up on my last lens approach, I'm afraid I had to dash at the last minute, in a way, before the wedding I was heading to. I must say it was embarrassed, but that NZ Ross, who I have met, can hopefully vouch for me as a decent chap! Cheersl

Does anyone have a wide angle lens, a 15mm, 14mm, 12-24mm or 10-20mm available to borrow/hire for 23-28 January and 6-11 February?
Doing a shoot for NZ Geo and they're keen on me using some super wide stuff rather than my usual standard lengths...

Thanks very much for thoughts.

#8 is a waitress in the middle of a shift, just looking out the window, no particular reason (that I know of anyway) for that kind of look - whereas #9 is of people here in Wellington, New Zealand, looking up at TV screens when some of the first news of a massive earthquake in Feb 2011 in Christchurch NZ was being broadcast.

The full series is on here, won't post it in a thread as 25 images on top of each other is a bit much.

I must overlook the difference?

Also, just for a family wedding in Bay of Islands. I have a 70mm Limited which is great but I don't use it much, tend to use the 31mm and crop if need be. But if anyone had something around 200mm free...

Currently updating my website with photo stories so thought I'd post one.

A Seaside City

Situated on a large natural harbour at the south-western tip of New Zealand's North Island, Wellington is a city bound by the sea.

The surrounding coastlines offer Wellingtonians an ever-changing aquatic playground. An environment of shifting light and life.
